Airtel collaborates with Microsoft to offer MS Office for their customers

India’s largest private sector mobile service provider Airtel is collaborating with software giants Microsoft.

The two companies would now offer Airtel customers in the country the ability to access host of Microsoft Office applications and other multimedia products on their mobile phones.

Airtel would now be able to target an estimated four million small and medium enterprises potential user.

Users with mobile device powered by Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 would now be able to access MS Office applications like Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet Explorer.

They would be offered products like the latest HP I-Paq and I-Mate handsets.
