Sanjeev Aga is the new CEO of Idea Cellular

Aditya Birla Group has announced the reshuffle of the key executives in its two companies Aditya Birla Nuvo and Idea Cellular.

The company has named Sanjeev Aga as the new Chief Executive Officer of Idea Cellular. This position had been lying vacant since quite sometime.

Aga was the managing director of Aditya Birla Nuvo till now and he would now be replaced by Bharat Singh.

These two appointments would be applicable starting next month. Aga has been working with the group’s telecom business since 1998 and was also the chairman of the Cellular Operators Association of India for 2001-02.
