Just saw an interview of Mukesh Ambani of the Reliance Industries on CNBC about their broadband project currently underway in India, and the subtle hints I got from that interview is that they are planning to converge cable TV, telephone and broadband services under a common umbrella and the probable brand name is “Bharat Broadband”. He also told the channel that he thinks that value for money would be giving 10 times the services for the same money a consumer pays for them today.
Well, if he can give me 10 times the speed in the same price I am paying Sify Broadband, I had be a happy guy. The net was down the whole day and it sucked like hell…

Actually braodband in usa is putting all telephone landlines in the museum. its coming and uts true cable/phone/very hi speed internet through your cable.
