Dear Sushubh,

I am living in Chandigarh and am on the verge of buying a Sify Broadband connection thru the local cable operator. I have reservations about the kind of service which the CTO will provide, which is why I was surfing the Net for informaion and came across your blog. Wow! It certainly gave me a whole new insight into Broadband in India. I am sick and tired of the Dialup services and would like to switch to Broadband. The local CTO is asking for Rs. 3500 as installation charges and Rs. 700 for the Rs. 600 monthly connection. Please suggest whether I should take the plunge or wait for a few months for the situation to improve. Is something better coming up in the near future?
Keep up the good work!

Ajay

So, Another CTO who asks for extra money with the Sify Broadband package. This does not look good… :(

i was having sifibroadband connextion for the last 2-3 years and the package has expired 2-3 days before. Shall I request for the authorities to send somebody to my place with the available packages so that I can either take new package or renew the existing one.
