DataFox Beta for MTNL Triband released
BSNL, MTNL March 11th, 2007
DataFox for BSNL DataOne and MTNL Triband released
Brian Fernandes of THE GOAN has updated his recently released DataFox extension for Firefox web browser to add support for MTNL Triband users.
The extension helps the user by giving him quick access to his internet usage as per the data recorded by the ISP’s servers.
It does not record the data transfer on the client machine but retrieves the data from the company servers. This download information is displayed in the Firefox web browser window. Additional information is displayed in the tooltip.
The latest version of the extension is 0.85b. It is currently in beta testing to check whether it works fine for MTNL users in Delhi and Mumbai both.
Changelog since the first release:
1) MTNL TriBand support, Bombay & Delhi.
2) Multi window support - DataFox will function as a single unit across multiple Firefox windows.
3) Additional preferences (login on startup and data unit display in GB / MB).
4) Drop down in login dialog - remembers all past user names.
