Reliance Communications: Still the second largest mobile company in India
Anil Ambani controlled Reliance Communications has announced that they managed to add around 1.2 million mobile subscribers in March this year.
With this, the company has managed to hold on to the second spot in the Indian mobile market. Airtel is of course the market leader.
The company added that they have also completed the re-verification of 85% of its total pre-paid subscriber base. Reliance confirmed that as per the orders received by them, they have deactivated customers who could not be verified.
Reliance said that they now have a re-verified wireless subscriber base of over 28 million as on March 31.
They plan to continue their efforts with the re-verification of their subscribers and the company assures their customers that the connections would be re-activated within 48 hours of submitted the required documents.
