BSNL launches Unlimited Up to 2Mbps plan for businesses
State owned telecom company BSNL’s Broadband division DataOne has become one of the most popular broadband services in the market today.
They were the first major ISP in the Indian market to launch packages with speeds of 2mbps. The big disappointment was the non availability of any plan which offered unlimited data transfer.
BSNL is now providing some unlimited plans with speeds up to 2mbps for their business customers. The cost of the plan range from Rs. 3300 to Rs. 6000.
They are primarily for business customers but I think home users can find some way to get this package. They are expensive but if the speeds are good, it could turn out to be a pretty decent deal.
However, Tata Indicom Broadband is already providing 512 kbps unlimited packages for less than Rs. 2000. This is perhaps one of the best deals in the Indian market today.

The news is incorrect. BSNL has introduced Unlimited Plans for Businesses with speed of only 512 kb/s, and not 2 mb/s as mentioned. The Rs. 3,300 Plan is for 256 kb/s and the Rs. 6,000 Plan is for 512 kb/s.

I would appreciate if the Date of Launch is mentioned somewhere in your blog. It is difficult to find out if information outdated or not.
