Airtel now launches their zero processing fee pre-paid cards
Airtel is already the largest mobile service provider in the Indian market. The company has launched a new scheme that would entice a lot of new prepaid mobile customers.
The company has launched new prepaid recharge vouchers without any processing fees included in the price. With this, the new cards feature increased talk time value.
Airtel said in its statement that their new vouchers of Rs 249, Rs 399 and Rs 499 denomination will now offer talk-time of Rs 221.61, Rs 337.31 and Rs 444.11 respectively. STD calls on these cards would be charged at Rs 2.40 per minute. The local call rates would be charged at Rs 1.49, Rs 0.99 and Rs 0.79 per minute respectively.
Bharti Airtel President (Mobile Services) Sanjay Kapoor spoke on these new product launches: “The prepaid segment has shown immense growth in the last couple of years and Airtel intends to drive consumption in this category. Happy Re-charge is a strategic initiative that is aimed to speed up growth, enhance customer value and significantly contribute towards increasing our market and revenue share in the future.”
