I am using bad language because I don’t have a reason not to do so. In fact I have 2 reasons to do so today.

My net was down today the whole day in fact. It was fixed in the evening by the local cable guy but the fix apparently lasted for 5 minutes as it went down again. Sify Broadband support guys are polite and helpful guys, but there is not enough man power to support my entire area. Apparently there are just 2 guys to manage the entire Panchkula region. So late is my problem fixed, that I have no other option but to take the day off at office. I have I guess lost almost same amount of money in lost pay days this month that I pay Sify Broadband for the net in the entire month. And they respond by saying that we will compensate for the lost days with free packages of a week or so. In fact I already have a free 1 week unlimited 128 kbps package that I have still not used. But my question is, when the net is not even working for 2 days consecutively, how I would utilize my freebies and feel good enough for the lost pay days!

Google. First it hated my Blog so much that for 2 years it did not consider it good enough to index properly. Last week it apparently did as it gave me a decent enough PR and regular index updates. But now, apparently I am not fit enough to run adsense on my site to recover some of the expenses of my hosting. It rejected my site for usage of inappropriate language. Hmm… I don’t find anything that offensive on my Blog. I am not selling Viagra or showing off porn. But nope. My site is not worthy enough.

So no reasons to be polite anymore. This Blog will be what it was supposed to be in the first place. A place to take out the venom, the anger on the bad things of life. And Sify broadband and Google seem to be 2 fit cases.

Sushubh thanks for starting this forum. I have joined aftter having a horrible time so far and out of frustration I was checking for other broadband options when I found this. I am stuck with an unlimited 6 months pack an if things dont improve I will definetly not renew and will search for alternative services. The weak link in their scheme is the CTO They will be the downfall of sifybroadband..

We had taken two Sify Broadband connections under the Unlimited Range Plan in the beginning of March 2005. The connections were taken under the usernames “citicap” and “citibazaar”. We had paid for the 6 months packages for both the plans alongwith the installation charges. The local service provider was Krishna Services, Delhi. However from day one the connections were slow and always dropping. The connections given were through loacl lan causing lot of virus issues as well. As we were not satisfied with the connection and the services we had asked SIFY to terminate the connections with immediate effect i.e. March 2005.

We have sent numerous mails for the last couple of months but our complaint has neither been heard nor has any one bothered to revert / communicate with us.

We only want our full refund of the internet connection charges after and the installation charges immediately.

Hope this forum will help us get or money back and warn other users from never using SIFY.
