thats what i plan to do...

currently i am just mailing to the people i actually have had quiet some long discussions in the past related to the quality of the net in my area... so get better contacts than jsut some call center guy...

i know the client would suck. so am not even trying it as long as i can avoid.

local CTO? I dont even have one. the guy who installed the net at my place now claims he has no relations with Sify. so the next guy is about 4 KMs from here in a different sector all toghether.

linux... if conditions stays like this i will MOVE to linux altoghether. just need that push... :D

Well, my deadline in chandigarh starts from next month. And another user who mailed me actually got this response:

"Sir, I doubt you own your copy of the AntiVirus"

And he responded by saying that he used free but excellend AVG... this made no effect on them. Maybe you got a more informed call center guy... But still it is offensive to have that option on... CTOs should be told to install the free software on consumer's systems which lack ANY antivirus. Because they are the users with systems who gets affected by network choking worms and viruses...

Perhaps this is true. But I still need the "NO AUTOLOG OUT" option...

I too was pissed when I first thought of it. but luckly the first time I was impressed by the Sify tetesupp ppl. I cudn't beleiev myself, contrary to every other time, when ends me up in cursing them more.
Nehow...the client as any1 who uses it can tell is one peice of bs. Dunno why programmer always live away from the reality. the proggy simply sucks big time!
