Tata Sky launches three packages for their subscribers

Tata Sky DTH service has announced the launched of their channel packages for customers who do not want to get access to all of the channels they are making available.

The company has made available three packages: the Starter Pack, the Family Pack and the Western Pack. They already have their Super Saver Pack which consists of all their channels.

Tata Sky further announced the addition of two new channels from BBC, CBeebies and BBC entertainment. They have also just recently added Shradha MH One, DD Lok Sabha TV and Akash Bangla.

Vikram Kaushik, Managing Director & CEO, Tata Sky Ltd. had this to say about their plans: “Over the last eight months, the quick adoption of our service across the country has accorded Tata Sky the status of the fastest growing DTH platform in the world. This itself is testimony to the success of the pay TV market in India. As a customer focused company it is our constant endeavor to offer our subscribers with maximum choice and value. We are the first in the Indian pay television market to offer our customers pan-India the freedom of genuine choice, at affordable prices with the launch of the three new channel packages.”

Tata Sky DTH Starter Pack costs Rs 160 per month. It features 35 channels including ESPN and Star Sports along with ActveTM Wizkids and ActveTM Games.

Tata Sky Family Pack costs Rs 250 per month. It features 71 channels including all popular Hindi, Regional and Sports channels. It also comes with ActveTM Khabar, ActveTM Star News, ActveTM Wizkids and ActveTM Games.

Tata Sky Western Pack is also priced at Rs 250 per month. It features 67 channels covering all English, Regional and Sports channels in addition to ActveTM Newsroom, ActveTM Wizkids and ActveTM Games.

The all in one Super Saver Pack has over 94 channels and costs Rs 300 per month.
