Airtel launches Yuva Cards for Youth in India
Indian mobile service provider Airtel has announced the launch of their Yuva Card pack for their customers. The company is specifically targeting the youth customer base as the package provides for affordability and attractive add-ons to suit their needs.
The package has been launched in the Delhi NCR region and is available for Rs 300 with a talk time of Rs 30 and 300 minutes of local talk time within the Airtel network.
It also offers night calling at a tariff of 10 paisa per minute along with 1500 free local sms within the first three months. These are applicable only on the Airtel’s own network.
Local SMS to other mobile networks are charged at 25 paisa. Airtel said that the package also offers attractive day tariff at 50 paisa from Local Airtel to Airtel.
Christopher Tobit, CEO, mobile services, Bharti Airtel Limited, Delhi and NCR spoke on this new package launch: “The introduction of the Airtel ‘Yuva Prepaid Pack’ is the culmination of an extensive customer research, which has helped us to understand the requirements of the young mobile population wanting to go mobile in Delhi. We are sure that such offerings will open up new segments in the market. ”
