RIM BlackBerry Curve now available in India
Research in Motion’s Blackberry Curve mobile device has been launched in the Indian market. The smartphone device measures about 107-mm x 60-mm x 15.5-mm and weighs around 111 grams.
The phone is one of the smallest and the lightest Qwerty smart phone from the company and still features a large display and a trackball navigation system.
Blackberry Curve comes loaded with a 2 megapixel camera with 5x digital zoom. It also includes built-in flash, self-portrait mirror, and full screen viewfinder.
Of course, the phone also works as a very capable digital media player and has integrated speakers.
Norm Lo, vice president of RIM Asia Pacific spoke at the launch ceremony: “The BlackBerry Curve combines consumer-friendly multimedia capabilities with industry-leading email and messaging experience in an elegant new smart phone design. The BlackBerry Curve will appeal to business professionals and consumers alike with its unique design, full Qwerty keyboard, robust email, full-features, Web browsing support, and powerful entertainment capabilities.”
