Sify Broadband new rates are finally somewhat reasonable
If they do not make changes that, I fear they might make in the near future though. The new shared packages are somehow reasonable to the users but CHEAP BROADBAND is still a dream. Looking at the popularity of these packages, more shared accounts are available…
The catch with the 64 kbps account is that you cannot use the account for more than six hrs a day. If you do, you lose 1-day worth of connectivity. Well, 48 kbps unlimited with unlimited time period for 815 sounds pretty ok to me considering it is in fact the same Sify Broadband. Also, the fact that the speeds here are minimum and can go up depending upon the number of users online also helps.

Sify though would do better if they can be a little more comprehensive. If I use the 64kbps connection for 24 hrs, will that still mean I lose 1 day or would that mean I lose 3 days of connectivity! Also, what does commercial usage of net means? If I use the net to do web publishing and earn money on ads, is that commercial usage? On the other hand, what if I do some freelance work? I guess running cyber café and earning money by selling net usage would come under commercial terminology. Because I know people who use the same shared packages in offices like travel agency… if freelancing is commercial, that would become commercial too! right?
I am not sure.
Also, this package is also pretty delicious:

Just that I cannot see any information on what Night Unlimited means… 8pm to 8am or 10pm to 5am! I am not sure. Maybe the pages on the Sify Mall would be more informative!
Ouch, nope they are not. This is the screenshot of the package that I currently have. The revised price is 615. But the pages on the Sify Mall show this:
Again a bit late on updating the pages… Right?
I just hope that the 6 hrs usage clause is not implemented on the 32+ and 48+ speed packages. At 6 hours a day, it no longer remains UNLIMITED.

gCache is going bonkers.. tried few other sites too but they tooo show the curent content &^%&*
maybe they have stopped concentrating on updating pageranks. instead they update pages in their cache. its good for the net. i was tired of people selling pageranks and well trying to behave as if they were god if they had a pagerank of 7 or 8. :)

net are disconected for 8 days & compensation recieved only 2 days !!!!

custmer.c. : iam really sorry there are some problem in system there some delay i will renew your account within 2 hrs
( so many call after 5 hrs but same responce )
( after 3 to 5 days same answer i will renew your account in 24 hrs there are some misunderstand between sify & cto there some problem ——– i will renew ur account ——–they renew my account remove the client—-10 days pass but still my acount are not renew (today-07/10/05 )
