Tata Teleservices launches Samsung Explore for Rs. 5499
Tata Teleservices Ltd has launched a new mobile device which they claim is the country’s first Mobile Web Browser.
The company has launched the Samsung Explore handset for Rs. 5499 and this device has been fully optimized for mobile Internet.
Company representative Suneel Bandhu said in a statement that the device is equipped with Qualcomm Single Chip and it would provide surfing speeds much faster than GRPS connections.
He further said: “This innovation is an important step in extending the power of the Internet on to mobile devices, making it accessible to the large and growing mass of mobile Internet users. As an introductory offer, we have priced the Internet services at Rs 10 for one day, Rs 30 for a week and Rs 99 for a month, with unlimited Internet access.”
The device also comes with a ‘Go Active’ connection that offers incoming facility for a year and free 1,000 - minutes Tata-to-Tata calls at no extra cost.
The phone device features a 65K Color TFT Screen, digital camera, FM Radio, expandable memory card slot up to 1GB, MP3 player, speaker phone.
