BPL Mobile launches a WAP site

BPL Mobile is one of the most popular mobile service provider in the Mumbai city and they have now launched a WAP portal in collaboration with Buongiorno.

Buongiorno is a leading multinational in digital entertainment and they have provided this site in an icon based interface.

The two companies said that the WAP portal features content which has a menu based interface. This makes it easier for the user to surf through all the available sections.

They further claimed that the portal checks for the device used to access the site and delivers the content suited for that platform.

This would mean that different mobile handsets would get content and media optimized for that platform.
