Vodafone India starts by launching Blackberry 8310 and 8820
Vodafone has just started using their brand name in the Indian market. And the first range of new products from the new owners are from Research in Motion from the US.
Vodafone Essar in collaboration with RIM have launched two models Blackberry 8310 and 8820 in the market.
These two models have been priced at Rs 24,990 and Rs 31,990 respectively.
Blackberry are generally preferred by corporate customers as they enabled them to connect with their office email servers.
But a lot of regular customers are now also purchasing these devices to stay connected to the internet while on the move.
Incidentally, both of these new RIM Blackberry phones are GPS capable and this would provide location data to the owners. This comes beneficial while accessing services like Google Maps on the net.
