BSNL IPTV in Andhra Pradesh from November
BSNL Andhra Pradesh circle Chief General Manager S Ramalingam has confirmed that they would be launching the IPTV services in the state starting next month.
They have installed the requisite technology to launch the IPTV services in the state.
They would be providing add-on services like ‘video-on-demand’ to the subscribers. In addition, subscribers would also get recording facilities.
BSNL overall is aiming to provide one lakh IPTV connections by March 2008 end. The monthly charges for the services should be around Rs. 200 per month.
The company is already providing broadband connections in Visakhapatnam city and has around over 8,000 broadband customers.
