NTT and VSNL in a Wi-Fi pact

Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd has announced that they are now collaborating with NTT to expand their international in-roaming service on Wi-Fi.

Prateek Pashine, Vice President - Planning, Retail Broadband Business said in a statement on this deal: “Over the next six months, the company intends to open up its extensive Wi-Fi network to millions of customers of international telecom operators.”

VSNL is already the leader in the domestic market with over 350 hotspots.

They now are aiming to expand this base to around 1000 hotspots in the next couple of months.
