Microsoft could power Reliance Communication’s IPTV Service
Reliance Communications has entered into a deal with the software giant Microsoft.
The two companies are now planning to provide a personalized TV experience to consumers in India.
They would be delivering television services in India through IPTV technology.
MTNL and BSNL are already providing television through IPTV in India. Airtel is also working on their plans to launch their own IPTV platform.
The two companies said that they would be launching their services by the end of the current fiscal year in Delhi and Mumbai.
The deal between the two companies is said to be worth around USD 500 million.
