Tata Teleservices launches mobile education initiative
Tata Teleservices has announced that they are now working on a new initiative on mobile education. Through this initiative, they aim to aid distance learning.
The company wants to support learning in rural communities and help out people who are physically challenged.
They are going to work with SNDT Women’s University, ATOM Tech and Indian PCO Teleservices for this initiative.
SNDT University would be involved in developing and supplying content for this mobile education service. ATOM would be providing the intermediary interfaces. IPTL would take care of the service distribution and dissemination system.
C N Nagakumar, CHRO, Tata Teleservices spoke on this announcement: “We embarked upon the journey couple of months ago for the larger education of our population. The twin objectives we could achieve with this service are a paradigm shift from the paper format to mobile format and impact both women and education.”
