MTNL Mobile TV service launched
State owned telecom company Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd has now launched their Mobile TV service in the Delhi and Mumbai region.
The service is currently available in experimental stage and offer seven channels.
MTNL is providing this service for free to subscribers of their unlimited plan till the commercial launch which is slated for April this year.
Interested users would require a compatible mobile handset to make use of this service.
MTNL Executive Director A K Arora spoke about this launch: “We are giving this service free, on an experimental basis, to 500 customers who are having unlimited plan of Rs349 per month, till we launch it commercially.”
