MTNL launches IPTV and video calling services
Government owned telecom giant MTNL has collaborated with Aksh Optifibre to launch two new services in the Indian market.
The two companies announced their “A Tel” (IPTV services) and “V Spyk” (video phone calling services).
These services are currently available to MTNL subscribers in Mumbai.
The two companies said in a statement that their IPTV service would deliver television programming with high-quality reception and add-on features. The service would have capabilities like time-shift television, video-on-demand, etc.
The video phone calling service would enable real-time video phone calling service between users. MTNL subscribers would be able to make international calls to nearly 100 countries at Re 1 per minute.
