Blackberry service providers in India told to put in security measures in place
Department of Telecom (DoT) has now warned all the blackberry service providers in the country to put in the necessary security measures in place within 15 days.
If they fail to comply, they would have to stop providing the service to Blackberry device users in the country.
They have been told to work in cooperation with Research in Motion (RIM) to provide security system in the country.
Research in Motion stated in a response that they are going to respect the regulatory requirements of governments.
