Videocon Industries could bid for Motorola mobile phone business
Videocon Industries is rumored to be considering placing a bid for the Motorola’s mobile handset business.
An inside source said that the company is currently working on its acquisition strategy.
Videocon Group chairman Venugopal Dhoot was quoted as saying that they are interested in buying Motorola’s handset business.
The company is also incidentally already working on entering the mobile services market in India.
India is one of the fastest growing mobile markets in the world adding millions of new customers every month.
