Samsung 2ON dual mode phone launched in India

Samsung has announced the launch of their 2ON mobile device in the Indian market.

This is the company’s offering in the segment which is compatible with both GSM and CDMA mobile platforms.

Samsung said that the 2ON mobile phone features 2 SIM slots — one for GSM and the other for CDMA.

With this, the phone becomes compatible with almost every mobile service operating in the country.

In addition, the company said that the phone supports value added services offered by both Reliance and Tata Indicom.

The phone features a 2.3-inches TFT touch-screen and comes loaded with a 2 mega pixels camera along with micro SD card slot up to 1GB. It also works as a MP3/AAC+ player.

Samsung has preloaded the device with several application including Handwriting Recognition, File Viewer, Sketch Memo, Advanced Organizer Capability, Mobile Prayer, and Panchang. It has been priced at a competitive Rs 16,500.
