Sify Broadband Shared packs have a 75megs a day limit
I do not see anything regarding this mentioned on the Sify’s website. maybe I am mistaken… But 5 calls from 3 different customer care people tells me this. Sify Broadband shared packs which comes in sad speed limits of 32kbps and 48kbps has a limit on the amount of data transfer that takes place in a day. And the limit is 75 megs. After you have done a transfer more that this, the speed is automatically reduced to something in the range of 16-24kbps. I have personally tried both the packages and the speeds after they decrease the speed is almost same in both the packages. Telling me that there is no use getting the 48kbps pack.
Rest is your decision. If you find this condition written on any webpage on Sify Broadband’s website, please feel free to enlighten me.
BTW… When you have a connection that comes labeled and the customer support tells you…
Sir, you have already downloaded more than 75 megs today! We cannot give you good speeds now.
How would you feel?
