Airtel Broadband: Speed on Demand Review
A user on the India Broadband Forum has posted a short review on his experience with the Airtel Speed on Demand feature.
He writes:
I do use Speed On Demand (SoD) at times. They have an accurate way to bill them. After selecting the speed, the window has an option “Disconnect”. You can select that anytime. And they have SoD pulse of 5 minutes, which means, if you use SoD 256 KBPS (INR 25/ hour) for 10 mins, you will need to pay INR 4.10 prorated only.
After 57 minutes, they provide a pop up saying :”Do you wish to continue?”If you click on “Yes” option, only then it will be extended. If you click on “NO” or do not confirm, it will revert to the normal speed automatically after exact an hour.
